Sowmya Shree N is a Project Engineer at C-DAC with a passion for algorithms and research and development of high-performance computing (HPC) systems and image recognition using deep learning and CNN. With 1.69 years of relevant experience, she is currently involved in the research, development, and deployment of high-performance supercomputers under The National Supercomputing Mission (NSM). Sowmya has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Science/Studies from New Horizon College and is currently pursuing a post-graduate diploma in Artificial Intelligence from C-DAC. She also holds a degree in Astrobiology and the Search for Extraterrestrial Life from The University of Edinburgh, where she scored an impressive 84.52%. Prior to her current role, Sowmya worked as an Embedded Software Engineer at L&T, where she was responsible for the verification and validation of business class jets such as Global 8000 Bombardier and Gulfstream 650. She also worked as an intern at Sears Holdings India. Sowmya has a strong tech stack that includes research scientist, CNN, infra, deep learning, and software engineering.
